Main Objective of the Scheme:

To provide financial assistance and rehabilitation to victims of caste-based atrocities, their dependents, and witnesses.
Eligibility Criteria for Beneficiaries:

If a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe family/person is subjected to atrocities due to caste reasons, the crime must be registered under the Civil Rights Protection Act, 1955, and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
Benefits of the Scheme:
- Travel/Daily Allowance/Protection Expenses/Food Expenses/Transportation Expenses for victims of atrocities and their dependents and witnesses as per the prevailing government rules.
- Lawyer fees and tea/snacks for the complainant as per the prevailing government rules.
