    Main Objectives of the Scheme

    • To bring Scheduled Caste communities into the mainstream of development through cooperation.
    • To provide and encourage self-employment opportunities for the unemployed in Scheduled Castes.

    Nature of the Project

    • Power looms and spinning mills.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Only registered cooperative societies of Scheduled Castes are eligible to apply under this scheme.

    Project Cost Limit

    • The project cost limit is upto 80 crores.

    2 Government Share Capital from Cooperation and Textile Department 45%
    3 Long-Term Government Loan from Social Justice Department 50%
