Main Objective of the Scheme:
- To provide margin money assistance to Scheduled Caste and Neo-Buddhist entrepreneurs under the Central Government’s Stand Up India scheme, offering up to 15% of the required 25% margin money as a grant.
- This scheme has been implemented since 2019 and is being executed as per the revised Government Resolution dated 26 March, 2021.
Nature of the Scheme:
- Under the Central Government’s Stand Up India scheme, eligible new entrepreneurs from the Scheduled Caste and Neo-Buddhist communities will receive up to 15% of the required 25% margin money as a grant.
Beneficiary Selection Criteria:
- The scheme will benefit eligible new entrepreneurs from the Scheduled Caste and Neo-Buddhist communities whose cases have been approved by nationalized banks under the Central Government’s Stand Up India scheme.
