Selection Criteria for Awards (Organizations):
- The department must be operational according to the Rules of Business of the state government.
- The organization must have done unique and exceptional work in service, education, health, rehabilitation, and employment for the extremely vulnerable and backward sections of society.
- The organization must have been active in the relevant field for at least the past 10 years.
- The organization must be registered under the Mumbai Public Trusts Act, 1950, and the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
- The organization must have a strong financial position.
- There should be no criminal cases or punitive actions against the organization or its office bearers.
Number of Awards (Organizations):
Total of 12 awards (2 awards per 6 revenue divisions)
Award Details (Government/Non-Government Organizations):
₹7.50 lakh (cheque), a certificate of honor, a silver scroll for the citation, a shawl, and a coconut.
