    Main Objective of the Scheme:

      To provide homeless individuals from Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist communities with their own homes.

    Key Conditions of the Scheme:

    • The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Castes/Neo-Buddhist category.
    • The applicant must have resided in Maharashtra for at least 15 years.
    • The beneficiary must own land/a temporary house.
    • The beneficiary should not have availed of any other housing scheme previously.
    • The beneficiary should be outside the priority list criteria of the Social, Economic, and Caste Census-2011 (SECC-2011).
    • For beneficiaries residing on encroached land of the state government, municipal corporation, municipality, local self-government bodies, MMRDA, or government undertakings as of 1.01.1995, and who have received protection as protected hutment dwellers, the requirement to submit 7/12 extract has been relaxed as per Government Resolution dated 15.3.2016.
