Financial Assistance to victimized family/person of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes
Eligibility Criteria
- In case of atrocities committed against a family or individual belonging to a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe on the grounds of caste, the crime should be recorded under the Civil Rights Protection Act, 1955 and the (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
- A medical certificate is required wherever it is necessary.
- Caste Certificate is mandatory for all crimes.

Victims belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes who are subjected to atrocities
Benefits:
As per the provisions of the government resolution dated 23/12/2016, financial assistance is provided according to the nature of the crime.
How To Apply
Financial assistance is sanctioned with the approval of the Collector after receipt of the police report by the Assistant Commissioner of Social Welfare regarding the registration of a case under the Protection of Civil Rights Act, 1955 and Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989.
