Objective of the Scheme
- To provide land to landless agricultural laborers from Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist communities below the poverty line.
Key Conditions of the Scheme
- This scheme is 100% government-funded.
- The maximum limit is Rs. 5 lakh per acre for dry land and Rs. 8 lakh per acre for irrigated land.
- Age limit is 18 to 60 years.
- Under the scheme, 4 acres of dry land or 2 acres of irrigated land.
Priority Groups
- Landless Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist communities below the poverty line (for deserted women).
- Landless Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist communities below the poverty line (for widowed women).
- Victims of injustice under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
Nature of Benefits
- Under this scheme, 4 acres of dry land or 2 acres of irrigated land are allotted to each beneficiary by the government.
- As per revised Government Resolution Dt.14/8/2018 the said scheme has been launched on 100% grant basis
